We start the day at the famous Bardo Museum in Tunis, renowned for its impressive collection of Roman mosaics and a wide array of archaeological artifacts spanning from the pre-Roman era to the Islamic period. Housed in the grand Bardo Palace, built in the 13th century, the museum is an architectural attraction in itself. Next, we head to the Tunis Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, beginning at the famous Kasbah Square. We will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the Medina. Afterward, we will explore the Medina on a guided walk through its picturesque streets, neighborhoods, ancient monuments, mosques, Quranic schools, and traditional bazaars with artisans crafting various local handmade products. We will also visit the colonial district of the capital, including Bourguiba Avenue and the Saint Vincent Cathedral. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Departure towards the ruins of Carthage, the ancient capital of the Punic Empire. We will visit Byrsa Hill and the old residential quarter of Carthage, as well as the Roman theater and amphitheater. We will see the Tofet, the ancient Punic sanctuary dedicated to Tanit and Baal Hamon, the most revered deities of the Carthaginians. Additionally, we will visit the ancient Punic ports that housed Carthage's commercial and military fleet, as well as the baths of Emperor Antoninus. Lunch at a local restaurant. Next, we will explore Sidi Bou Said, a picturesque village in the bay of Tunis famous for its charming houses painted in harmonious shades of blue and white, with impressive balconies adorned with arabesques. We will discover its architecture and stunning views overlooking the Gulf of Tunis. At the end of the day, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Departure to Testour, the first city founded by the Moriscos in the early 17th century during the expulsion of the Andalusians by the Catholic Kings of Spain. A panoramic visit of the town and the famous mosque featuring a beautiful minaret decorated with a clock whose hands move in the opposite direction to a regular clock. Next, we visit the impressive ruins of Dougga, an important historical site recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. With its ancient theater, temples, baths, and well-preserved forum, Dougga is a living testament to Tunisia's rich history and culture. The visit will include the remains of the ancient Thugga, such as the theater, the capitol, the forum, the baths, and houses. Lunch along the way. Next, we head to Hammamet, where we will visit the old Medina located by the sea, with its majestic medieval architecture. Overnight stay in a luxury boutique hotel.

We depart for the enchanting city of Sousse, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we will visit the Archaeological Museum, which houses an impressive collection of Roman mosaics. Next, we will explore the picturesque Medina with its magnificent medieval architecture, cobbled streets, ancient walls, and artisan bazaars offering a variety of local handmade products. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we head to Monastir to explore El Ribat, an ancient Arab fortress from the 8th century, and the mausoleum of Bourguiba, dedicated to Habib Bourguiba, the first president of Tunisia. Return to Sousse for an overnight stay in a boutique hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for El Djem, known for its amphitheater, one of the best-preserved Roman amphitheaters, with a capacity of about 35,000 spectators. Despite its age, its impressive architecture and grandeur still amaze visitors today. Next, we head to Matmata, a Berber village famous for its underground houses and lunar landscape. During our visit to a Berber troglodyte house, we will discover its fascinating architecture and traditional way of life. We will enjoy lunch with a Berber family in their troglodyte home to savor local cuisine. In the afternoon, we will also visit the Sidi Driss troglodyte hotel, known for being a set in the "Star Wars" saga. We will then depart for the island of Djerba, passing along the Roman road. Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in Djerba.

Departure to discover the historic and mysterious island of Djerba, famous for its references in Homer’s Odyssey. We start with a walk through Djerbahood, an open-air urban art museum featuring a multitude of murals. Next, we will visit the ancient Jewish synagogue (closed during Jewish religious holidays) and the Fadhloun mosque, which reflects the Ibadite architectural style, the most common religious sect in Djerba. We will then explore Guellela, the island’s main pottery center, where we will visit a traditional workshop to see the craftsmanship in action. We continue to Houmt-Souk, the island's capital, to see an ancient Fundouk and the famous Catholic church of Saint Joseph. Lunch at a local restaurant, and after lunch, we will explore the traditional souks, a picturesque maze filled with local crafts. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

We depart for the enchanting region of Tataouine and the majestic Dhahar mountain range. Upon arrival, we explore the fascinating Ksar Ouled Soltane, an exceptionally well-preserved Berber granary with four stories of ghorfas in excellent condition and multiple levels. We continue our journey to Chenini, a Berber village known for its traditional architecture and picturesque location on a steep hill, offering panoramic views of the surroundings. The village features troglodyte-style structures, houses built on the mountainsides, and in natural caves. Next, we head to Ksar Hadada, an ancient Berber granary and filming location for "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace." Enjoy a typical Berber meal. Finally, we head to Douz, known as "The Gateway to the Desert," with the option for camel rides (optional). Overnight stay in a luxury hotel.

After breakfast, we visit the village of Douz with its artisan market known for workshops producing "Balgha," traditional footwear made from camel leather. Next, we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we head to Chott El Djerid, a lake covering approximately 4,650,000 square kilometers, the largest salt lake in North Africa. This impressive natural landscape is often characterized by vast salt flats and its changing hues from bright white to shades of pink and orange during sunset. We continue to Tozeur, the capital of Bled El Jerid, "Land of Palm Trees," and enjoy a typical lunch featuring local cuisine. Upon arrival, we will visit the EDEN PALM date museum, where we will have the opportunity to taste delicious date-based products. We will conclude the day with a visit to the historic center to discover the beauty of traditional houses adorned with terracotta bricks. Overnight stay at a boutique hotel in the Medina of Tozeur.

Departure by 4x4 vehicle towards the Atlas mountain range to visit the mountain oases. We arrive at the oasis of Chebika and stroll through its impressive landscapes and natural springs. Next, we head to the oasis of Tamerza, where we visit the waterfalls and the old abandoned village, enjoying its spectacular views. We continue to Mides to admire the palm grove and canyon that offer breathtaking views. Typical lunch in the oasis. Return to the hotel, with the afternoon free to relax and enjoy the hotel facilities or the option of a 4x4 excursion to the Ong Ejmel dunes and the Star Wars set (optional).

After breakfast, we depart for Kairouan, the holy city of Islam and the first founded by Arabs in Tunisia, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Upon arrival, we will explore its ancient monuments, including the Water Reservoirs, extraordinary hydraulic constructions of the Aghlabid dynasty. We will visit the Barber's mausoleum, known as Sidi Sahib, and the Great Mosque of Okba, the first mosque built in Tunisia. We will pass by the mausoleum of Sidi Abid Al Ghariani and enjoy a view of the ancient Three Doors Mosque. Lunch at a local restaurant to enjoy typical dishes. In the afternoon, we will explore the Medina of Kairouan, with its vibrant souks and picturesque narrow streets. Finally, we will depart for Tunis, where we will check into a boutique hotel in the Medina of Tunis or Sidi Bou Said.
