Early pick up from your selected hotel in Tunis and departure to El Jem, visit the famous Roman amphitheater ranked 3rd in the world with a capacity of 35000 spectators. Drive to Matmata, Berber village unique of its kind known for its underground cave houses and its lunar landscape. Visit to a Berber troglodyte house to discover the amazing Berber architecture and the daily life. Then you will enjoy a tasty lunch of Berber specialties. In the afternoon, drive to Toujene, Berber village nestled in a mountainous landscape and offering a stunning view. Departure to Ksar Hadada, visit to the ancient granary used by Berber tribes, and set location of “Star Wars” movie. We continue the last step of the day to Douiret, ancient Berber crest village where we will enjoy a delicious dinner. Overnight at the typical troglodyte Lodge “Gîte de Douiret” with its original room excavated into the rocks.

After a tasty typical breakfast, wander tour to discover Douiret village to admire the ancient architecture of the Berbers with ancient abandoned houses, oil mills and underground mosques. Drive to Tatouine, ancient city which housed the foreign legionand the famous BAT D’AF (African battalion). Visit of a traditional pastry workshop to taste the famous Gazelle horn, a typical a sweet pastry horn filled with honey and nuts. Visit to Ksar Ouled Soltane, an old majestic granary very well preserved with its Ghorfas beautifully superimposed used to store aliments. Drive to Chenini, wander tour in the crest village of sublime beauty with its amazing houses dug in the rocks and the Ksar on the pick of the mountain till the small white mosque. After a typical lunch with a tasty Berber menu, departure to the beginning of The Erg Oriental, a huge desert of ocher sand, transfer in 4WD vehicle to Zmela with its giant dunes of fine sand where you’ll enjoy the most beautiful sunset of the planet. After a delicious dinner of Bedouin specialities, you can admire a spectacular starry sky in Tunisia Sahara Desert where the main constellations are seen with the naked eye. Overnight in tents in Zmela Saharan camp.

Once you are in the desert you can’t miss a wonderful sunrise on the sand dunes. After a tasty and rich breakfast, drive to Ksar Ghilane, amazing Sahara oasis where you could enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural water spring 34 C°. Possibility to make some excursions in the desert by Camel riding or Quad Biking (Optional). Then, we continue to Douz, the city named “The Gate of the Sahara”, visit of the traditional market of Babouche, traditional shoes made of Camel leather. Typical lunch in Douz, then departure to Chott El Jerid, the largest Salt Lake in Tunisia, short break for photos to admire the beautiful landscape of the lake. Drive to Tozeur the capital of Bled El Jerid « The land of palms », visit to the ancient city of Tozeur with its house decorated with traditional bricks made of clay and narrow streets covered by palm trunks. Dinner and overnight in DAR TOZEUR, Luxury Charm hotel with traditional architectural style remembering the Arabian Nights.

After breakfast, departure to discover the mountain oases on the Atlas mountain range. Arrival to Chebika oasis and wander tour through the oasis with its stunning landscapesand natural water springs. Drive to Tamerza oasis and visit of the waterfalls and the old abandoned village with wonderful views. We continue to Mides oasis located right on the Tunisian-Algerian border, visit of the famous Canyon shooting location of the famous film « The English Patient ». After lunch, departure to the oasis of Tozeur, visit to workshop of traditional Brick of clay used to decorate the façades of the houses of Tozeur. Drive to Nafta, the second town in « The land of palms », visit to the famous oasis La Corbeille « the basket » to admire the palm trees and the ancient irrigation system in the oasis. Visit to the old city to admire the typical architecture of the houses with their coated-clay-brick facades. Return to Tozeur, dinner and overnight at DAR TOZEUR  charm hotel.

After a rich breakfast, departure to Kairouan, the holly city of Islam and declared World Heritage, arrival and visit to the city and its ancient monuments. Visit of the Aghlabid basins, old water reserves that fed the entire city. Visit of the Abu Zoumaa Al Balaoui Mausoleum called Sid Sahib or the Barber. Visit of the Great Mosque of Okba, that took the name of its founder. Panoramic visit to the ancient mosque called “Three Doors Mosque”. After lunch, visit of the Medina with its souks and narrow streets. Possibility to visit of a carpet weaving workshop.
